CHE 104, Introductory General Chemistry
Course Description: A study of the general principles including laws of definite and multiple proportions, stoichiometry, gases, electronic structure, chemical bonding, periodic relationships, oxidation-reduction, acid bases, chemical equilibrium and acids/bases. Intended for students interested in a one-semester course in general chemistry and recommended for students seeking careers in nursing, nutrition and allied health science fields. Not open to students who have already completed both CHE 105 and 107. Prereq: A working knowledge of algebra such as is acquired in two years of high school algebra, CHE 105, or MA 108R, or a composite ACTE score of 22 or above.
