Dr. Toreki, a former professor in this department, created this handy little program that assesses what you need to reach an A, B, C or D in CHE 105 or CHE 107 after 1, 2 or 3 exams. In each case, we'll compare your scores to those in a database of 600 to 1,000 other students from a previous semester and return the performance of the students whose scores most closely match yours. Based on this information, the program will predict your most likely final grade.
If you enter only your Exam 1 and Homework score, you'll also be shown the percentage of these similar students that went on to earn an A, B, C or D.
If you enter Exam 1, Exam 2 and Homework, you'll also get an estimate of what you need to average on Exam 3 and the Final to get an A, B, C, or D. We'll also look at the comparison to students from previous years and assess the likelihood of you actually doing this in each case.
If you enter Exam 1, Exam 2, Exam 3 and Homework, you'll also receive a table that shows what you need to get on the Final to make an A, B, C, or D for every possible Replacement score you could earn.
