While planning your presentation, keep in mind the following:

If you have never made a formal presentation before, the first thing you should do is relax. While some of you are currently taking CHE 572, you don't need to have this course to have a good presentation!
A great resource is the ACS Handbook for Speakers, which covers all of the important factors in both oral and poster presentations. Print it out and review it carefully!
