I have a couple of (now ancient) programs written to make the life of a chemist a little bit easier. MWCalc is a useful program which converts formulae to molecular weights, and allows the use of abbreviations (TBDMS, MOM, etc.) - it will also calculate millimoles from grams (and grams to millimoles), and a whole host of other useful laboratory chores. Eventually, I'll try to compile a Universal binary - I think some time after our sun goes nova, I might have a spare minute or two. eV-Transmogrifier (160k, sea.binhex) converts between many energy units, most helpfully, nm to eV. Give 'em a try!
Occasionally I have time for hobbies, which include woodworking and planted aquaria. I am particularly fond of an attractive genus of South-American cichlids called Apistogramma. If you want to see some pictures of the ones I keep, Click Here.
And once in a while I get a chance to head into the shop. I don't have time for many big projects, but I can turn out the occasional box or small table. To see pictures of a few works (and works in progress) Click Here.
Last but certainly not least, there are a few cats I share my house with. If you need an occasional "awww cute" to lighten your day, then Click Here.
