Positions are available for perspective graduate student!
A Postdoctoral research Fellow is sought to conduct research in biophysical characterization of Multidrug Resistant (MDR) proteins, including membrane transporters and regulators. The fellow will also spend 50% effort on analyzing PCB contents in animal tissue samples with GC-MS. Ideal candidates will have a PhD Degree in Biochemistry (or related discipline) and be comfortable with basic molecular biology methods including cloning, protein expression and purification. Previous GC-MS experience is not necessary. Problem solving skills and willingness to learn are required. This project will involve multidisciplinary collaboration with scientists in Pharmaceutical Science, Nutrition and Toxicology. |
