Regional Poster Session

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Kentucky will hold its annual Regional Poster Session for Undergraduates on Friday April 18, 2008. Any student in CHE 395 that is graduating or is otherwise finishing their research, should participate in the Poster Session if they haven't already done so. In addition to CHE 395 students, students from schools around the region are invited to participate.

Come participate in this opportunity to share your research and network with other undergraduate researchers in the region. There is no registration fee.

Please arrive and set up your poster materials between 2:00-3:00 as the poster session lasts from 3:00-5:00. There will be refreshments available during the poster session and a light buffet meal and social from 5:00-5:30 p.m., after which the session concludes with award announcements.

The poster boards that will be used are 4 feet wide and 5.5 feet tall. Displays can be mounted to these with provided thumbtacks or push pins.

First Prize $300
Second Prize $200
Third Prize 3 @ 100

Abstracts should be submitted by April 13, 2008
