About SAACS |

SAACS is a national organization for any students interested in chemistry. By joining SAACS, you are associating yourself with the American Chemical Society, the largest scientific society in the world and one of the oldest professional societies in the United States. SAACS can provide you with many opportunities to serve your community, to engage socially with other people interested in chemistry and to learn about the amazing research projects professors are working on right here at UK. We encourage all of our members to join ACS, for which the UK Chemistry Department will reimburse you. All majors are welcome, not just chemistry! If you would like to join the UK chapter of SAACS, simply come to our next meeting, stop by our office at CP-144, or talk with one of the officers. |
