SAACS Meeting

The next SAACS meeting will be held Wednesday, April 16th. Dr. Atwood will be giving a talk about Green Chemistry. Atwood is giving a talk about his research and Green Chemistry. Pizza will be served and we'll be meeting in the conference room, room 137 in the ChemPhys building.

SAACS Meeting

The first SAACS meeting of 2008 will be held Thursday the 24th.
Dr. Lynn is giving a talk titled: "Proteomics: Why is Mass Spectrometry Important?". Note that this meeting will be held in a different location than our usual meetings - CP-139, the lecture hall. To see the research that Dr. Lynn does at UK, click here.

Student Involvement Fair
As part of K Week for the Spring Semester, UK is holding a Student Involvement Fair in which new and current students can check out student organizations and activities that they can get involved with on campus. SAACS will have a table set up with information about the group and our future plans on campus.

Social Event - Game Night
For the end of the year meeting, SAACS held a game night. Everyone brought in group games and home-made snacks. We went over what we had accomplished in the Fall, and what our plans were for the upcoming semester. Then we all broke into groups and played various games like Catch Phrase. This turned out well, and everyone seemed to have a lot of fun.
