Mentoring/TutoringSAACS Officers and Members can tutor or mentor students totally free of charge. Simply stop by our office in CP-144 if interested. The Chem/Phys main office (CP-125) also keeps a list of tutors. |
Science Demonstrations at ExploriumSAACS Officers and Members are encouraged to volunteer at the Explorium. Those interested will aid in science experiments and demonstrations at the Explorium for children. This is a great service to the community, and a great way to get involved. Please contact one of our officers, or stop by our next meeting if interested. |

ResearchIf you are interested in getting lab experience and doing research as an undergraduate, the chemistry and biology departments offer comprehensive hard-copy lists of faculty research interests. Most chemistry professors' pages on the faculty listing also describe their research interests. Consider joining SPUR, the academic group geared specifically towards undergraduate research. |
