Mentoring/Tutoring

SAACS Officers and Members can tutor or mentor students totally free of charge. Simply stop by our office in CP-144 if interested.
The Chem/Phys main office (CP-125) also keeps a list of tutors.

Science Demonstrations at Explorium

SAACS Officers and Members are encouraged to volunteer at the Explorium. Those interested will aid in science experiments and demonstrations at the Explorium for children. This is a great service to the community, and a great way to get involved. Please contact one of our officers, or stop by our next meeting if interested.

Research

If you are interested in getting lab experience and doing research as an undergraduate, the chemistry and biology departments offer comprehensive hard-copy lists of faculty research interests. Most chemistry professors' pages on the faculty listing also describe their research interests.

Consider joining SPUR, the academic group geared specifically towards undergraduate research.
